For a couple of days I've been playing World of Warcraft. YES!

So far I got a Night Elf Rogue, level 14. It's pretty fun! I'll be updating my new site

A couple of days ago I couldn't resist and bought a domain name, which will probably be used for some kind of site when World of WarCraft comes out.

I still have to decide what kind of site it will be: if will be a fansite (and that would be a lot of work, and there's a lot of competition because there are already a lot of good sites out there) or if it will be some kind of blog system. For those that are already thinking about the name... nope, it probably won't have anything to do with the names I may choose for my possible characters. I picked frostbolt because it sounded cool, it's some kind of WoW Spell, and, most important of all, because it was available... hehehehe. Probably it will remain "comming soon" until the date comes near and I begin playing (what's the point of having a blog or a site if you are not playing it, and it's not the same posting what you've played than copying and pasting articles from others).

It will be very interesting. I'm just counting until the game comes out. If you guys read about the game... so damn cool, the raids, most of all (that would be like sieges in Lineage). A couple of days ago, in WoW's Korean Beta, there was a huge big-ass fight; Horde vs. Alliance. There are like 30 pictures in WoW's Site (http://www.worldofwarcraft.com) + an article about it, but you have to see it: lots of planning, lots of killing too, and, most of all, everyone have said that it's fun (by the way, The Horde won The Alliance on that Korean Fight/Raid, they also got to kill one of the Humans Heroes: Jaina Proudmoore). There are very very very rare comments I've read on-the-net about people complaining of the game. I could dare to say that 90% of the comments out there are good.

Maybe I'll update in a couple of days or weeks about the status of the site I might work on!

It has passed almost three months that I post in my blog (and that I play Lineage). It might surprise a lot of people, but when you have things to do, you don't really depend on Lineage. During this time I have to admin that there were times I was about to go back to the game, just to pass some time (maybe play an hour, chat a couple of mins, etc), knowing that the game still has it... flaws. Anyways, I haven't broken my decision of quitting... and, if things keep going as they are.. probably I'm not returning to Lineage ever.

I got new plans. For a lot of time (maybe since it was announced) I've been interested in World of Warcraft, and a couple of weeks ago I began reading a lot about the game, and every day that passes I'm more anxious of playing it. There are classes I got in mind, thinking which one I should go first. The classes are (no special order): Hunter, Paladin and Priest. There are others that I'm interested but these are the main ones (the others are Druid and Rogue).

To give a bit more details to those that are interested, in WoW there will be (as for now), two types of servers: PvE (Player vs Enviorment), and PvP (Player vs Player aka Faction Wars). I'm not sure to which one I'll go, tho. There are a couple of new rules that came out some days ago. I'm also not sure of the faction: first I was going to be Alliance (and still interested), but there's a friend that is "possibly" playing WoW, and it would be an Orc (Horde), so.. dunno.

Anyways, I'm not sure if I'm going to use the same names I used in Lineage or if I'm going to use new names (role-playin!). Possibly, if things go smooth, I would open a blog for World of Warcraft. What I'm almost sure is that it's not going to be in LiveJournal, possibly I'm going to host it... but we have to see. Yesterday I bought a domain which is focused in using it in WoW.

To all of those that still play Lineage, have fun! I dunno what I'll do (if I'll keep items or if they will be given to friends). To those that are not playing Lineage, and even those that are still playing, you all should try WoW: the game looks so cool and there are so many things to do. If anyone wants to do a bit of research about the game, just leave a comment and I'll share a couple of sites I'm visiting (got like eight sites atm O.o).

I'm almost sure I'm not going back to Lineage. 18 days without playing and I'm not missing it. I'm having a great time in the job I got, and, in my opinion, there's no sense paying for something that you will barely use. Job + College + Rest Time = No time for Lineage =P

It's incredible, you know, in the past it was so hard not playing Lineage because there was nothing else to play, and you would get bored easy for then to pay Lineage again. This is the first time that I don't even think about Lineage (just when I read some boards). Maybe Lineage is only good if you don't have nothing else to do =p Dunno.

So, my plans of reaching 50 on my elf goes bye-bye. Too bad I decided to quit now that I can't access the account ... there are certain items that could help a few people I know (like the Ancient Leather Armor) T.T

I would like to thank all of those that contributed in enhancing my Lineage's experience: Ahmda, Curain, KirKanos, ElfMagi, ZAcidReignZ, KrisM, Bajaratt, Genitorturer, DarkMishra, Talass, FieldsOfLove, Magnetik, Marquez, Wae, Thruster, can't remember who else =p sorry if I missed someone. Also to Paldo for giving me a great time when Lineage was almost dying... so many nice people on that pledge.

It's dissapointing how the projects I were working on during my Lineage Career (sites) ended (the ones I created)... but I guess that's the way to be. I created two pledge sites (DOM & FCA) and contributed to some fan sites (Stratics, Lineage Compendium, HOC, Lineage Center, Lineage Guide). I've been playing Lineage in a total of two years and five months.

Maybe I might activate my account anytime in the future, but if I do it won't be really to "play", it would be just to pass the time. I might also have plans to play on other games, I'm mainly interested in WoW, but we will see when it arrives.

Status Update

Well well, last Monday I began working on a job I got, and I'm working almost all day. Usually my routine is Job->College->Home or College->Job->Home, so, as for now, it's slightly heavy. Things are going nice and where I work is fun ^_^

Being said that, I've just been thinking about Lineage (some minutes ago Lineage crossed thru my mind) and I'm not sure if I would be able to play with the schedule I got now (when I come back to home I just want to rest, watch tv, eat, blah blah, and then sleep), who knows if I could or not, I'm just saying that I just began thinking if I would have time to play. Time will tell.

Underworld

After so much time of waiting, Underworld finally came to theaters here T.T I guess I shouldn't complain and just say better late than never =P (ironically, Blockbuster was going to bring the DVD before ... but it got delayed too... )

I have to say that the movie was not like what I expected. The plot is interesting and has a drastic change. Had a lot of action, but the ending was slightly ... babo ... heheh =p

The movie is about a 1 hundred (or so?) war between Vampires and Lycantropes (aka Werewolves). Not telling really much because, since it's a very old movie I guess most of you already saw it T.T

On other notes, possibly I might be able to go back to Lineage at the end of this month. I hope things go as they are planned ^_^ I've been reading some blogs, noticed that RDR Pledge reactived theirs and they have been posting some interesting end-dai ss of The Alliance ^^ Lately I've noticed that most of the blogs that used to post information about the war that is going on have been dying .... (just see mine T.T), so getting info when you are not playing is hard =/

Who is ThinkMe, the only chao maker on Dep with a DK Set?

That question is going to be answered today ^_^ The real identity of ThinkMe was confirmed today in a fight we just had on Right Double Drake. The fight itself was very boring so lets go from the most interesting to the most boring.

This is one of the good things about being in a fight in that place

Our party got all the drops, not bad, considering it could have be worst =p

Now, I don't really know how the fight began, but when I went there, we could say we were winning. There were very few of them going, for example, in all the fight I just saw (most of them left soon or very fast): ProtectMe, Nonennon, ToLaGi, LoveSick, ThinkMe, ZSilverLeafZ and Zuluu. Now, this morning I heard by someone that ThinkMe was ProtectMe, as I said, it was confirmed in this fight (so now you know who he is)

Why is it confirmed? Because ThinkMe only came when we all were pink (and yes, all of us were pink while they were waiting for us to get into that state), and when we turned blue, she logged off and then ProtectMe came to make us pink. As soon as this happened, ProtectMe would leave and he would bring ThinkMe back. There was also a point in the fight that ThinkMe stopped comming and ProtectMe began using the DK Set. It should be an honor for SoL and their alliance to be the first pledge on Depardieu to have a chao-maker with a DK Set. Isn't that a bit extreme? I guess they want to be the pioneers on the chao-making area. By the way, ToLaGi is RainDragon.

As some background information, ProtectMe is used by the owner of 1o1 character, which was a SoL DK Knight that was banned for the clone/duping incident. He's also known for having the first, and only, earth bind elf on Dep, which is Dolly (isn't that strange? To be the only one in so much time?). He also has a mage named LoveDragon. ProtectMe (1o1) is also very known on Dep for globalling lies.

Keeping on, they couldn't just stop and they got more chao-makers ... t.t

I think that the mage on the right is Nonennon's mage. That's because Nonennon was there briefly then he logged off and that mage appeared, then the mage was gone and then Nonnenon was back -_-;;;

At least I should say they keep comming back even if that meant escaping as soon as they landed xD Before I end, one of the most funniest ends of that fight was ZFantasyZ, a mage, that just kept cancelling us. Too bad he ended as well, but logged off as soon as that hapenned, no picture coz he dissapeared so fast... =( Did I forget to say that he was pink? ^^

I'm going to get something to eat, hungrehhh! >_< L8r.

Pffft... second lag death @ level 49 `` Thanks to it my schedule is getting delayed -_-;;; It wasn't me because as soon as I began lagging I tried to browse a site and I could without any problems -_-;; So, it had to be one of the routers that my ISP uses to reach NC/Lineage ... PFFFT!

On a funnier note, while I was hunting I read on global that Finglefin, one of the most babo persons on Dep at the moment, was globalling "Baekho end". Inmediately a SOL-Side person named F0rces answered "but you didn't end him". It's amazing how people don't know how to read o.O;; Finglefin can be babo, but he didn't say he ended Baekho o.O;;; Maybe F0rces should learn how to pay attention and how to read correctly t.t

Anyways, I confirmed with someone else and this is what happened: F0rces, which is a mage, saw Finglefin on Oren (both sides attack Finglefin, as far as I know) and called for reinforcements. Now, it's incredible because Fingle is one of the weakest characters -_-;; I say this because our side has ended him easily ... anyways, F0rces felt like he needed more people to end a single knight, so I guess Baekho went and began hitting Finglefin then two Bow Guards come and end Baekho... lol. Too bad I wasn't there to take screenshot >_<

Going back to the lag-death... for some reason I'm not highly pissed t.t What's ironic is, any of you have noticed that when your account is almost about to end, when you log there's always a message like "If you are experiencing problems, please contact support", or "if you have any suggestion please let us know", things like that... -_-;;; Of course, I'm not hunting again until tomorrow at least ~_~;;;

I just noticed that KirKanos (level 50 prince and leader of the biggest spanish community pledge on Depardieu, CrimsonEmpire Pledge) wrote on his pledge's site some days ago a full and detailed guide about Stats, he investigated some sites and posted a concentrated version. I just found it but I'm going to sleep (it's pretty long) so I can't really check it now, will do it tomorrow, but seems nice o.O;;;

What's the point of being in a fight?

A while ago I was in one of the most lamest fights I've ever been. It's incredible how many times all of SoL and all their alliance have been blaberring that, on fights, they always go pink and we never go. In most of the fights I've been, since I joined Paldo, I've seen a totally different story: very few times they go pink.

I understand that maybe if you are outnumbered, the smartest thing to do is not going pink, but there were points in the fight that they had a lot more people and, still, you could see them walking from one side to another trying to see who would go pink so they would hit. Most of us went pink, while very few of them did.

Now, what's the idea of a -fight-? To fight, right? But it's very funny when there are individuals that like to global or even in the fight they say things like "paldo is weak", etc. etc., when they can never stand their fight without calling for help. Take this for example:

He said that after he venzed one of Paldo's DKs, but he also forgot to say that there were four or five more on the DK. I asked him that if he thought that our DKs were weak, why doesn't he 1:1 one of them? Yet, I'm still waiting his answer.

Not to mention the uncountable times Protectme (aka 1o1 --this character was banned after the clone incident--, LoveDragon, Dolly) has globalled with likes like "x person ended", while that person was hunting in a totally different area of where he said. Who looks dumber?

Oh well, that's one of many SoL tactics. I noticed in today's fight that there were new integrants in their alliance, I think that ROLEX joined them... *sigh* it's incredible that in the fights it's usually Paldo & Ora vs. SoL + DK Club + DeathOfSuperman (aka Superman) + ALLinONE... tsk tsk, and they call us weak! heheh ^_^

Do you want to take this as a whine? I don't care! (anything I write could/would/is be taken as, anyways) But I've fought for over a year and now you can't really be surprised of these things. I just want others that don't participate in the fights to know our side of the story ^_^

Roller Coaster

As most of you have experienced, after you begin playing Lineage, it begins to get like a roller coaster: sometimes you feel like playing, sometimes you feel like not playing... Again I'm feeling like not playing... heheh, even tho I've decided to hit 50 on my elf at least before quitting =p I'm still hunting, tho.

I had a +6 Bless of Elm stored for a couple of weeks, also had three N-Zels...

That's like the third or fourth Bless of Elm I've blown since I began playing Lineage. People also have the believe that Elven Items are hard to Over-Enchant.

Since I don't have anything else interesting to say (all have been hunting, hunting, hunting, hunting...), these are the items my elf is using at the moment, notice that some information has been deleted ^^

As you notice, I'm focusing on MR, even if people say that it's useless because getting MR on elves is pretty easy, I don't think the same thing, and specially because months ago I read in an article that some korean dudes made some tests and they found out that having MR +100% decreased the chances of spells to work (in other words, 100% and +100% are not the same thing). The spells tested were Silence, Slow and Decay. I guess that the chance of being burned should decrease as well o.O;;; Now, even tho I'm not posting what's my elf's MR, I will just say that it's pretty high, and that is, "base" MR, not counting buffs ^_^

At the end, I don't lose nothing testing by myself ^_^

I go back and play some UT2004 =p

I've been out of home since 9am this morning, and yesterday night I installed the new update Apple released (10.3.4). As I came back (just some minutes ago), I began to check the sites I visit and read a post in Ahmda's Blog saying that her Lineage crashes after installing the new OS update. I was like.. fk, now my Lineage will crash and no Lineage T_T But, I just checked and everything went fine o.O;;; No clue of why she's having problems and I'm not having, tho.

Any other than that, nothing.

EDIT: As a reminder to those people that read the reviews I make of the movies I see, my opinions doesn't have to be equal to everyone. I mean, for tastes there's the rainbow. Even tho I do appreciate people posting reviews against mine, with their valid points of views, I'm not going to have any doubt in deleting posts that could result offensive, as some dude have been doing in the last two movies I've posted. To that dude, if you don't like my reviews, and feel so offended to the point of thinking that my taste of movies suck, then don't read anything at all. I'm not pushing you to read something you don't like. Now, if you could make those "critics" a bit more "constructive" rather than "insultive", then we could have a nice arguement, but if you continue posting nonsense I'll just press "Delete" and keep going on. And, if you didn't know, the IPs are logged when a post is made ^^

One last thing, I'm no "movie-expert". I'm just someone that likes to go see movies and share opinions about it.

The Day After Tomorrow

I don't know what is more scary: the realism of the movie or the idea that it could happen. The movie is about the theory that if the poles melt, it could affect very bad in the world's weather, to a point that the Earth could have another Ice Age. It's the type of movie that the world is going to end as we know it. One of the things that really angers me (and it can be seen in other movies like Pearl Harbor) is that when you warn someone about something, they think you are kidding and begin saying that you are just wasting their time, until it's too late, and something could have been done if they payed attention the first time you warned them.

The movie also has many other messages, but I'll leave them for you to discover them... hehehe. Now, as a point of fact, if that happens, my country would be gone or almost gone. That's because the level of the country and the sea T.T (I think that it's called sea-level).

This movie is really recommended ^_^

On a side note, in the series of trailers that were shown before the movie, Underworld (a movie about a one thousand year war, in which Vampires have been fighting Lycanthropes, aka Werewolves) appeared ``. But, I think that at this point the DVD should be here by the time the movie hits -_-;; Since when that movie has been out in US? Almost a year? -_-;;;

It's a tactic after all...

A Chao Maker that didn't make anyone

This happened some minutes ago in a brief fight we had on Top Drake. Nope, it's not a level +52 character, it's a Chao Maker that SoL had with a DK Set. Now, wouldn't it be better to give the DK Set to someone that could actually give a fight rather than waiting to make someone chaotic? I understand that you can't be giving DK Sets to anyone, but, there should be someone "trusted" in SoL that could give good use of it, or maybe there's no trust in the pledge?

And I can still remember many, many SoLs that have been bitching Paldo, and other pledges, about using Chao Makers, but it's the first time I see a Chao Maker using a DK Set -.- By the way, the weapon she was using was some Axe -_-;;;

Now that are talking about cheap tactics (but that at the end we can't say that it's a tactic), a couple of days ago we went to Giran Siege, briefly, and it would amaze you the amount of times that the castle switched hands. Why? SoL had, counting their main castle pledge (FIRSTLOVEFOREVER), three pledges in the tower. The castle switched, in a term of 5-10 minutes, more or less 10 times, and I'm not kidding. Again, I can't say that it's a tactic, BUT, there have been times that SoL & Co. bitches about others doing it, and now they are doing it... whats the point? And that's the main reason I didn't write anything about the siege, because 85% of the times you were on it, you were venzed because they switched castles... again.

Oh well, at this point nothing should surprise me.

EDIT: By the way, when I say SoL, I'm talking about all of the pledges that form their alliance, which are: SoL(duh!), DeathOfSuperman (ZeF's pledge), DKClub, ALLinONE (Sya's pledge), among others. Their alliance is still pretty big ^^

Any other than that, nothing really interesting. Tomorrow (well, in some hours because it's already saturday) I'm probably going to see The Day After Tomorrow. I've also been playing the demo of UT2004, nice, I like being able to use vehicles o.O

I just read a confirmation that Wae is leaving (or closing) the Lineage 1 Area she had in her site (LineageCenter.com):

THANKS GUYS, HAVE FUN WITH LINEAGE 1
(in other words, the Lineage 1 site here is closed now. No more news.)

Even tho NC doesn't want to recognize it, Wae has made a great job, not only providing a center or site that could update us with all of what was happening on Korean Servers, but also she supported many sites (well, maybe not many, but a number of sites) that were "official" fansites but decided to close, for example, when Lineage Compendium announced that they were closing, Wae decided to help the community. Then Templar Gaming closed, and Wae hosted their forums in her site. Later LineageGuide... and in the same way, Wae provided the hosting. So much hard work for someone that is already busy in real life. All her work is greatly appreciated.

I did read the message she left a couple of days ago that the database of LineageGuide was going to be moved to another domain, but it was still going to be hosted by her, and the admin position was going to be taken by Stub, which was previously member of LineageGuide's Staff.

I just hope this is not the beginning of the end... this year most "official" fansites have decided to close, and even tho LineageCenter was never considered as official by NC, all the community considered it as the best ^^

As I understand, Wae will still be around in Lineage 2 scene, so good for them T.T

Thanks for all the work and time you've given to the community, Wae ^^ Too bad I can't play Lineage 2 or else I would be so happy that you are still there =p

Kill Bill: Volume 2

I've been out all day and just arrived some minutes ago. Saw Kill Bill: Volume 2 (it came this weekend on my country), and I must say... IT SUCKED! I haven't seen so much blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah before on a movie T.T And I thought it was good (I heard that part 1 and 2 were hits on US). I haven't seen part 1 yet, tho, because I missed it, but I've been told that part 1 was all about action, swords, etc., maybe part 2 is for all the time they couldn't talk on part 1 -.- I'll have to rent the DVD of part 1 to see by myself o.o;

There were very few action parts, some little jokes, but nothing reaaaally interesting, I could swear that I should have just slept during the movie T.T There's something very interesting that it was said during the movie, and it was about Superman... lol, something that none of us have ever thought about it. I want one of those swords! (I forgot the name ``). Oh, there are some very nasty parts ``

Next week comes The Day After Tomorrow, I've seen a how-it-was-made report some days ago (on TV) and I think it will be great, specially for the effects! I heard that they made a whole city, block by block, digitally, and they also showed how they frozed the Empire State Building!

Damn, it has been a long time that I see so huge fight. Again, on the same place of always, a fight began on Top Drake.

As always, I'm never fast enough to take end screenshots -_-;; The reasons are that most of the times there are too many people on the corpse, and also they restart too fast and I'm slow with this stupid mouse -_-;;;

Anyways, tonight ended: Yonate [DE Elf] (first to end in the fight), BananaRep [DK Knight], I3aby [DK Knight], and don't know who else. During this week: WarReDeMMeR [Kurtz Knight], Zuluuu [DK Knight] (which dropped a +10 Rap, worth 45-50m, this was some days ago), BoneCracker [Knight..lol] (or BoneCrackerJacks), can't remember who else either T.T I'm getting old @_@

EDIT: I forgot to say yesterday that there was also this SOL Mage that dropped a Mage Cap and a +8 SOM... Too bad they got it back >_< Someone else dropped some Iron Boots but I don't know the +

Magnetik is one of the few prince that actually fight. It's not the first time I see him beating some people =)

During the fight, and I've noticed lately that always that BEAST sees me, he always goes for me... lol. He can be running from someone, or doing something else, but as soon as he sees me, he stops and attacks... lmao. I had a lil chat with him, couldn't take screenshot of all because I lost most of it: too much chat on screen t.t

Days ago I wrote some information regarding the character and who was using it, as I've been told, it's the second user: Tim. I'm surprised, because he says that he uses the char since it was created, and as far as I know, he's lying. The ones that began the character were Taz [Notorious187] (which -quit- internet) and Jason (AngelofWrath), a few others joined the group, but it was not him. Oh well, he's -paying- for the account ^^

If you see BEAST around, give him a shout for me ^^

I should have posted this days ago but I was waiting for my Elf to get full law ^_^

I've decided to move back to elf... again. Since my mage hit 48, I feel like leveling him more is just a waste, unless I plan to play hardcore to, at least, get level 51. Why? Because, as most of you know, mages don't have any kind of bonus on level 50... the nearest bonus mages can get is Kurtz Morph on Level 51... My elf is level 49 and his nearest bonus is at 50 with water spell =p So it's easier to level elf than mage ``;

I got him an ALA. The seller was nice enough to include a sealed ala in the deal ^_^ I'm still not sure if it's really worth it's price, so far I think I only regen 5hp/9mp per tick with it (not sureeee, I used to know the number a few days ago). Since I was hunting with a lot of keys, I couldn't really test (most of the times I was overweight.. being overweight = not being able to regenerate), from 41% heavy now my elf is like 2*% or 3*%, don't remember either =p

It's incredible how you can lose 3hp/1mp so easy -_-;;;;;;;;; By the way, if anyone is selling a Dexterity Amulet, please let me know T.T With the few population that Dep has right now (150-200), as Ahmda says, it's very hard to sell or buy things ~_~ I've seen people global the same thing for weeks, while I was exchanging equipment, it took me days, at least four of them, to get what I wanted, and some items are still missing -_-;;

By the way, this morning I read on global that Tonk, a SoL/DKClub knight, hit 52. Congratulations, KUSANG! (because we all know that Tonk pays KUSANG to level his char^^). KUSANG is indeed a champion, has leveled so many characters to 52... he should be making some nice money, maybe he should put a char leveling business: call 1-800-ILVL-4YOU (that should be 1-800-4585-4968) and you can hire him!

Today it was finally fixed the keyboard bug I was experiencing: the one that didn't let you recall the chat log more than once!!!!! Now I can chat and global at the same time without having to write all over again!!!!
